It’s Show Time!

Gilbert Stephens Financial Services is a strong supporter of our local agricultural Shows. Throughout August, the firm had the pleasure of having a trade stand at Honiton, Okehampton and Chagford Agricultural Show.

This year, Marcus Quick, Financial Services Manager based in Exeter and Sidmouth attended Honiton’s 129th Agricultural Show, whilst Wyatt Loake, Financial Services Manager at Exeter, Crediton and Budleigh Salterton joined in the fun at Okehampton’s 112th Show and Carrie Maud, Chartered Financial Planner, attended our last Show in Chagford.

The firm had an incredible time chatting with new and existing clients over Pimm’s, pasties, cream teas and other refreshments whilst our fantastic face painter kept children thoroughly entertained throughout the day. Some of the adults were so impressed with the face painting, they joined in with the celebratory atmosphere and got their faces painted too!

Marcus Quick, Financial Services Manager at Gilbert Stephens Financial Services said “we are delighted to attend the Shows. We have a lot of existing and potentially new clients come to our stall, and it was great to catch up with them over a cream tea and glass of Pimm’s. The Shows are also a great opportunity to meet both existing and new clients who come with questions regarding financial planning, pensions and a whole range of other services that Gilbert Stephens Financial Services provide”.

This year the firm gave away an impressive inflatable paddle board and three luxury Devon Hampers packed full of locally produced food and drink. Everyone who came to see us at the Shows also received one of our green Gilbert Stephens bags with further goodies inside.

Thank you to Honiton, Okehampton and Chagford Show for having us again this year, we hope to see familiar faces and new ones when we return again next year.
